Leroy Warth
1927 - 2012

Leroy James Warth, 85, of Sellersburg, passed away at home on Friday, July 20, 2012. He was retired from B.F. Goodrich and was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in New Albany. He was a U.S. Army and Navy WWII and Korean War veteran.

He was born on April 20, 1927 in Floyd County to the late Frank and Rose (Andres) Warth. He is also preceded in death by his brothers, Norbert, Frank and Earl Warth and sister, Rosemary Beeson.

Leroy is survived by his wife of 58 years, Ruth Ann (Caufield) Warth; sons, Phillip Warth (Pamela), Joseph Warth, Daniel Warth (Kathy), Tom Warth and David Warth (Katrina) and daughter, Karen Jerrell (Wayne); 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

His Visitation will be Noon to 8 PM Monday, July 23, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 AM on Tuesday at Holy Family Catholic Church (129 West Daisy Lane, New Albany) with burial to follow at Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery in New Albany.

Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church.
